Creation of the subject of my thesis for the DNSEP in Interactive Graphic Design at ESADHaR.
éphémère essentiel invisible explores the influence of Japanese aesthetic concepts — Mono no aware, Wabi-sabi, and Ma — on contemporary graphic design practice.
By drawing on notions such as transience, simplicity, and emptiness, I examine how these perspectives can enrich visual creation, making it more sensitive and introspective. This research highlights a poetic approach to design, where contemplation and subtlety open new paths to establish a profound connection between the graphic object and its viewer, resonating with today’s concerns around impermanence and authenticity.
